No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Medical Board, Health and Human Services Commission, and the University of Texas System indicate that the provisions of the bill relating to the retention by hospitals and physicians of medical records of a sexual assault victim could be absorbed using existing resources.
