No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Government Code by adding part-time masters, magistrates, and associate judges appointed to the list of officials for whom the Court of Criminal Appeals may expend Judicial and Court Personnel Training Account No. 540 funds for continuing legal education. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
