The bill would amend the Property Code to require certain reporting requirements by landlords to residential tenants regarding rent increases.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Low Income Housing Service, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

According to the Texas Municipal League, no fiscal impact to cities is anticipated.
