The bill would amend the Government Code to extend an existing exception to certain requirements that local entities assist or cooperate with federal immigration officers to include activities that occur at domestic violence shelters.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to cities.
