April 18, 2019

TO:
Honorable Dan Flynn, Chair, House Committee on Defense & Veterans' Affairs

FROM:

Legislative Budget Board

IN RE:
HB675 by Thierry (Relating to a study and report on the establishment and implementation of a program that provides financial assistance to property owners who offer housing to veterans at risk of homelessness.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Comptroller to conduct a study to evaluate the feasibility, methods, and costs of establishing and implementing a program which provides financial assistance to property owners who offer housing to veterans at risk of homelessness. This analysis assumes the cost could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
