No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Water Code to add additional conditions for consideration in the issuance of groundwater permits and would modify certain regulations relating to the transfer of groundwater outside the boundaries of a groundwater conservation district.
According to the Commission on Environmental Quality, the bill is not anticipated to has a fiscal implication to the State.
Local Government Impact
According to Bluebonnet, Rusk County, and Clearwater groundwater conservation districts, the bill is not anticipated to have significant fiscal impact.
