IN RE:
HB758 by Wu (Relating to public access to juvenile court proceedings.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Family Code to establish procedures for determining public access to certain juvenile delinquency proceedings. According to the Office of Court Administration, although expedited appeals have an incremental effect on the courts and delay the adjudication of other matters, any impact would likely be absorbed by existing resources. No significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.
Local Government Impact
No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
