No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would create the Advisory Council on Music Therapy to conduct a study on the state certification of music therapists. The bill would require Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to provide administrative and staff support for the advisory council and to publish the advisory council's report on the agency's website. The advisory council would be abolished September 1, 2022.
 
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
 
Based on the Legislative Budget Board's analysis of information provided by DSHS, any activities undertaken relating to the provisions of the bill can be implemented using existing resources.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
