No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would add a new article to the Code of Criminal Procedure to require each peace officer that contributed information to an investigation's offense report to sign the report.
It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to an offense report prepared in the investigation of a criminal case could be absorbed using existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, no significant fiscal implication to counties is anticipated.
