No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Agriculture Code to extend an existing restriction on the ability of political subdivisions to regulate noxious or invasive plant species to include a prohibition that would limit the removal of these species.  The bill would restrict the scope of this extension to certain residential and agricultural properties.  Defines noxious brush.

Local Government Impact

According to the City of Houston, the bill would have no fiscal impact.
