No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Local Government Code to require certain notices regarding fees in proposed budgets of municipalities and would require that adoption of a budget that includes estimated revenue from a new fee or the increase of an existing fee would require a separate vote of the governing body.
