No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code to require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to appoint a Green Stormwater Infrastructure and Low Impact Development Report Group that would be required to produce a report each biennium on the use of green stormwater infrastructure and low impact development in this state with contents as described in the bill. Based on the analysis of TCEQ, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
