No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to modify a list of municipalities for an existing authorization relating to public improvement districts.  The bill would place certain limitations on projects for districts created after September 1, 2019 and also modifies certain criteria for inclusion in a public improvement district.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would have no fiscal implication for cities.
