No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Parks and Wildlife Code to authorize the commercial fishing of channel catfish in certain additional locations.
According to the Parks and Wildlife Department, there is no fiscal impact to the agency.
Local Government Impact
According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill is not expected to have a fiscal impact on Starr and Zapata counties.
