No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

This bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code relating to certain agreements by architects and engineers in or in connection with certain construction contracts. Based on information provided by the Texas Board of Professional Engineers, this analysis assumes that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

The bill has an effective date of September 1, 2019.
