IN RE:
HB1218 by Klick (Relating to the distribution of benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 33 of the Human Resources Code to require the executive commissioner of the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to adopt rules relating to the distribution of benefits under the supplemental nutrition assistance program. HHSC estimates there would be a minimal cost associated with implementing the provisions of the bill. It is assumed that costs could be absorbed within existing agency resources.
Local Government Impact
No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
