No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Health Professions Council, Department of Licensing and Regulation, Texas Medical Board, Board of Dental Examiners, Texas Board of Nursing, Optometry Board, Board of Pharmacy, Health and Human Services Commission, and Executive Council of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy Examiners indicate that the provisions of the bill relating to the liability of health care providers who provide certain assistance in disaster situations could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
