No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code and the Water Code to specify a process allowing certain special districts to hold board meetings at certain places outside the boundaries of the district.  The bill would make certain modifications to data on special districts reported by the Comptroller of Public Accounts (CPA).  The bill would require the Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ) to public information on the process for designation of meeting places.

According to CPA, the bill would have no fiscal impact to the State and would impose no administrative costs on the Office.

According to TCEQ, the bill would have no fiscal implication to the agency.

Local Government Impact

According to TCEQ, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
