No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to require certain local governmental officials to certify within thirty days certain information related to an area's wet or dry status for the purpose of alcoholic beverage permit or license. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and the Comptroller indicate that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact to the State.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
