No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Labor Code relating to certain public school workforce training programs funded by the skills development fund. Based on information provided by the Texas Workforce Commission, Texas Education Agency, and Higher Education Coordinating Board, it is assumed that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties and the Texas Municipal League, no fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
