No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to benefits for peace officers relating to certain diseases or illnesses could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

The Texas Association of Counties anticipates a significant fiscal impact, adding several million dollars in costs to the Texas Association of Counties' Risk Management Pool.
