HB1531 by Neave (Relating to the creation of a specialty court for sexual assault victim services.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to permit a commissioners court to voluntarily establish a sexual assault victim services court program. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
 
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
