No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Code of Criminal Procedure to make a juror's name confidential and non-disclosable by the court, court personnel, or a prosecuting attorney. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
