No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would provide certain death benefits to survivors of members of the Texas military forces who die in the line of duty if they are not eligible to receive federal survivor benefits. While the occurrence and timing of these events are too difficult to predict, this analysis assumes that the provisions of the bill could be absorbed using existing resources.
