No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to authorize local law enforcement agencies to establish Peer Assistance Programs and establish certain aspects of confidentiality and civil immunity related to these programs.

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to cities.

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to counties.
