No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The Texas Medical Board, Board of Dental Examiners, Texas Board of Nursing, Board of Pharmacy, and Board of Veterinary Medical Examiners indicate that the provisions of the bill relating to discussing with a patient the risks of certain controlled substance prescriptions could be absorbed using existing resources.
