No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Transportation Code to require local authorities to allow a funeral escort facilitating the movement of traffic for a funeral procession.  The bill also authorizes a funeral escort service to proceed past a red or stop signal under certain circumstances.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
