No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to remove a restriction that mutual aid law enforcement task force agreements may only be entered into by neighboring or contiguous entities.

According to the Department of Public Safety (DPS), no fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to DPS, no fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would have no significant fiscal impact to cities.
