No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Department of State Health Services (DSHS) to establish a regional advisory committee in each public health region to address antimicrobial stewardship in long-term care facilities and improve antimicrobial stewardship through collaborative action. Based on the Legislative Budget Board's analysis of information provided by DSHS, the agency could use existing resources to complete the provisions of the bill.
