HB1932 by Thierry (Relating to the inclusion of catastrophic debris management in county emergency management programs.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Government Code to require that certain emergency management programs associated with counties must provide for catastrophic debris management by January 1, 2020.

Local Government Impact

According to Polk County, it would cost the county approximately $30,000 to hire a consultant to assist the county with the implementation of the bill.

According to Harris County, the bill would not have a significant fiscal impact on the county.
