No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would require the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality to change how it considers post-use polymers and recoverable feedstock recycling as these items relate to the regulation of solid waste. Based on information provided by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality and the Railroad Commission, it is assumed that duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be absorbed with existing resources.
