No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to clarify that a home rule municipality has the authority to enforce a zoning regulation relating to game rooms or amusement redemption machines and that a county may enter into an interlocal agreement for such regulation.

According to the Texas Municipal League, the bill would not have a significant impact on cities.
