HB2001 by Leach (Relating to leave for state employees who are volunteers of certain disaster relief organizations.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend Chapter 661 of the Government Code to allow leave for state employees who volunteer with organizations that are members of the Texas Voluntary Organizations Active in Disasters. Based on the analysis, it is assumed that the provisions of the bill could be absorbed using existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
