IN RE:
HB2052 by Murr (Relating to increasing the criminal penalty for violations of the Antiquities Code of Texas.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to increasing the criminal penalty for violations of the Antiquities Code could be absorbed using existing resources. Based on the analysis of the Comptroller of Public Accounts, the fiscal implications of the changes in law proposed by the bill for court costs, fee, or fine revenue stemming from offenses would not be significant.

Local Government Impact

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
