No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Local Government Code to establish certain procedures for the civil service system appeal of deputy sheriffs for demotions, certain suspensions, or termination of employment.

According to the Office of Court Administration, no significant fiscal impact to the state court system is anticipated.
