No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to prohibit the retail sale of alcoholic beverages at a cost below the retailer's cost. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission and the Comptroller of Public Accounts anticipates that the bill would not result in a significant fiscal impact. The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
