HB2168 by Allen (Relating to a trauma history assessment for certain defendants and inmates.), As Introduced

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would require the Texas Department of Criminal Justice (TDCJ) to conduct a trauma history assessment for certain offenders. TDCJ states that the provisions of the bill could be absorbed using existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

Local Government Impact

No fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
