No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Alcoholic Beverage Code to as it relates to grounds for refusal of certain alcoholic beverage licenses and permits to include drink solicitation. The Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission reports the costs to implement the provisions of the bill could be absorbed within existing resources. The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.
