No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend and establish provisions in the Transportation Code relating to the operation of bicycles and certain electric bicycles.

Based on information provided by the Department of Public Safety and the Department of Motor Vehicles, it is assumed implementation of the provisions of the bill would not result in a significant fiscal or operational impact to the State.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties and the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
