This bill would amend the Occupations Code relating to a report by the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation concerning license applicants who are military service members, military veterans, or military spouses. Based on information provided by the agency, this analysis assumes that the duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished by utilizing existing resources.
The bill would take effect on September 1, 2019.
