It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to speech protections for student media publications in public schools could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
The bill will require local board of trustees to adopt a policy establishing rules regarding a student's right to exercise freedom of speech and freedom of the press in producing any student media publication.
