No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to information and communication of governmental and other entities regarding disasters and health and human services could be absorbed using existing resources.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal implication to cities is anticipated.

Harris County anticipates a fiscal impact, but the amount cannot be determined at this time.

Aransas County anticipates a fiscal impact of $124,137 in the first year and between $111,609 and $117,156 annually thereafter due to additional staff, a one-time capital purchase, and recurring operating costs.
