No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend Chapter 33 of the Human Resources Code to require the Health and Human Services Commission (HHSC) to collaborate with and provide information to local government officials and agencies regarding certain aspects of administering the disaster supplemental nutrition assistance program. HHSC indicates it could absorb the costs associated with the bill within its current resources.
