No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Transportation Code to add certain sub-regional boards of regional transportation authorities (RTAs) to an existing authorization for qualified sub-regional boards of RTAs that may enter into certain lease or financing agreements secured wholly or partially by the assets of the authority.
According to the Department of Transportation, the bill would not operationally or fiscally impact the agency.

According to the Fort Worth Regional Transportation Authority, the bill would not have a fiscal impact on the authority.
