HB2590 by Biedermann (Relating to the administration, powers, and duties of a municipal utility district.), As Engrossed

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Water Code relating to certain municipal utility district conversions.  The bill would mandate certain notices from converting districts and specifies the method by which temporary directors are to be appointed.

According to the Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), the bill is not anticipated to have a fiscal implication to the State.

Local Government Impact

According to TCEQ, no fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
