IN RE:
HB2653 by Rosenthal (Relating to public school policies and procedures for the establishment of threat assessment teams.), As Introduced
No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
It is assumed that the provisions of the bill relating to the establishment of threat assessment teams could be absorbed using existing resources.
Local Government Impact
School districts and charter schools would be required to coordinate with the Texas Education Agency and in accordance with guidelines established by the School Safety Center in developing threat assessment teams. School districts and charter schools could see some increased costs related to these activities and with the operation of threat assessment teams.
