HB2716 by Leman (Relating to authorization for a private entity to enter onto property to survey for a proposed high-speed rail project.), As Introduced

No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Business & Commerce Code to prohibit a private entity from entering private property to conduct a survey for a proposed high-speed rail project unless the entity has the funding necessary to complete the project.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Association of Counties, the bill will have no fiscal impact to counties.
