No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to extend certain existing procedures for the issuance of hazardous waste permits to include municipal solid waste facilities.

According to the Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ), no fiscal implication to the agency is anticipated.

Local Government Impact

According to the Texas Municipal League, no significant fiscal impact to cities is anticipated.

According to TCEQ, no fiscal impact to units of local government is anticipated.
