No fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.
The bill would amend the Health and Safety Code to modify the authorized amount that counties may charge for issuing or renewing certain permits related to food service. Fees for these permits would be capped at an amount not to exceed the county's or district's cost to conduct required inspections and to issue permits. The bill would also repeal certain existing caps on fees for these permits.

According to Potter County, the bill is not anticipated to have a fiscal impact on county revenue.
According to Tom Green County, the bill would have no fiscal impact because the county does not require permits of food service vendors.
