HB2757 by Leach (Relating to the rule of decision in a court of this state.), As Passed 2nd House

No significant fiscal implication to the State is anticipated.

The bill would amend the Civil Practice and Remedies Code relating to the rule of decision in a state court. Based on the analysis of the Office of Court Administration, duties and responsibilities associated with implementing the provisions of the bill could be accomplished using existing resources.
 
The bill would take effect September 1, 2019.

No significant fiscal implication to units of local government is anticipated.
